RedGum – The Waldorf School of Central Victoria invites applications for a Kindergarten Teacher to join our Early Childhood team, teaching one of our two Kindergarten groups on a bushland campus near Castlemaine. The role supports a warm, home-like environment where each teacher is supported by a Teacher’s Assistant and a strong Steiner/Waldorf educational ethos.

RedGum Kindergarten includes a Bush Kinder program and provides a beautiful, home‑like environment where each teacher is supported by a Teacher’s Assistant.

Set on a beautiful bushland campus near Castlemaine, RedGum offers a supportive and collaborative staff culture, an active College, a rich Steiner/Waldorf approach to early childhood education and a welcoming school community.

The successful applicant will have:

• An approved Early Childhood teaching qualification.
• Eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Experience or training in Steiner/Waldorf education, or a willingness to undertake Steiner Education Training.
• A strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Warm and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Artistic, musical, handcraft or practical skills and interests.
• Current First Aid and Child Safe qualifications.
