Job summary

Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre in Victoria is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our Aboriginal community-controlled, family-centered team. The role focuses on nurturing identity, self-esteem, and a love of learning within an integrated inclusive model alongside families, Early Years educators, and allied health professionals.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher who brings energy, responsiveness and collaboration to our multi-skilled team. Alongside mainstream education, this role has the unique opportunity to help build strong & proud Aboriginal children through reinforcing their Aboriginal identity and personal self-esteem in a way that encourages lifelong learning and enables them to reach their full potential. You will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the wellbeing of the Victorian Aboriginal community. We are looking for an applicant with a passionate commitment to the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal community control in Early Years.

The applicant must have a strong commitment to social justice and advancing the rights of Aboriginal People’s self-determination.
