Job summary

Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia seeks a Staff Specialist in Kidney and Transplant Services to provide expert clinical care across the full spectrum of kidney disease and transplantation. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to teaching and research objectives, collaborate with colleagues, and help deliver high-quality services as part of Metro South Health’s kidney and transplant program.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FRACP or equivalent accepted by the RACP, with specialist registration (or eligibility).
• A higher research degree (e.g. PhD) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist kidney and transplant clinical care to patients.
• Assume overall responsibility for patient care within the Kidney and Transplant Service.
• Deliver comprehensive level 6 kidney service care, including transplantation and dialysis services.
