Job summary

The Department of Education, Western Australia, is establishing a pool of Kindergarten to Year 2 teachers for permanent and fixed-term vacancies in the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered for vacancies commencing during this period, with part-time and full-time options available.

Successful applicants will possess strong knowledge of the WA Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, and be capable of differentiating the curriculum in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the WA Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework, and National Quality Standards.
• Ability to plan and teach in a collaborative environment with differentiating the curriculum.
• Experience in evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs and explicit instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging K–2 lessons aligned to WA Curriculum.
• Differentiates instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality learning experiences for primary students.
