Job summary

MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Relief Security Officers for Defence operations in Melbourne, Victoria. You will contribute to protecting Defence personnel, assets and critical infrastructure through patrols, access control and a professional security presence.

We welcome experienced professionals and those newly licensed, with sponsorship available for eligible candidates. Australian Citizenship and a valid Victoria security licence are required, along with baseline or eligible defence

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for Defence environments.
• Ability to maintain composure and make sound judgments under pressure.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity and accountability on security duties.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain required Australian defence clearances.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and provide a visible security presence at Defence sites.
• Perform access control and verify credentials for personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

In this role, you'll play an important part in protecting Defence personnel, assets and critical infrastructure through patrols, access control and maintaining a professional, visible security presence.

Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship - required for Defence security clearance eligibility
• Current VIC Security Licence
• Baseline Defence Security Clearance - or willingness and eligibility to obtain one

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
• High levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism across all security duties
