Job summary

ALDI Australia is hiring a casual Junior Store Assistant in Queensland. Join a dynamic retail team and receive training to become a retail professional, with opportunities to grow within ALDI's Good Different culture.

As a Junior Store Assistant, you will help customers on the shop floor, keep aisles tidy, and perform back-of-store duties such as unloading stock and stocking shelves. Weekend and after-school availability is required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on weekends and after-school hours 4pm–9pm, plus school holidays.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Great eye for detail and ability to spot things out of place.
• Enthusiasm to be part of a team and contribute as a teammate.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding products on the shop floor with a smile.
• Keep aisles organised, clean and looking fabulous.
• Back of store duties including unloading and unpacking stock, keeping shelves full.

Junior Store Assistants are the backbone of our retail stores and keep our stores running by:

• Assisting customers with finding their favourite products on the shop floor with a smile
• Keeping our aisles organised, clean and looking fabulous
• Back of store duties including unloading and unpacking stock, keeping our shelves full so our customers can find their favourites!

What do we need from you

• The flexibility and availability to work on weekends, after school hours between 4pm - 9pm and during school holidays.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
• A strong work ethic, you are known for being reliable.
• A great eye for detail, with the ability to notice when things look out of place.
• Enthusiasm to be part of a team and to understand the importance of being a great teammate.
