Job summary

ClockOn Pty Ltd is seeking a software developer to join our team on the Central Coast. You will fix bugs, write tests, and collaborate with senior developers while working with SQL databases and version control.

Join a permanent full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement. You will contribute to our cloud-based workforce management software used by Australian businesses and gain hands-on experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET (ASP.NET/MVC/.NET Core).
• Basic understanding of relational databases.
• Familiar with Git or another version control system.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Degree in IT/CS, bootcamp, or proven self-taught project work.

Responsibilities

• Fix bugs, write tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Work with SQL databases, including queries and migrations.
• Collaborate with product and support to understand customer needs.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Fix bugs, write tests and take part in code reviews with senior developers


• Work with SQL databases, including writing queries and database migrations


• Work with product and support teams to understand what customers need

About you

• A working knowledge of C# and .NET (ASP.NET, MVC or .NET Core)


• A basic understanding of relational databases


• Familiarity with Git or another version control system


• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions


• A degree in IT or computer science, a bootcamp, or equivalent self-taught experience with projects you can show us
