We are seeking a Special Education Teacher with a passion for teaching students with additional needs, to join our community in teaching Stage 1.

This is a casual position, with a temporary short-term 6 week arrangement available for the right candidate (for the 19th October 2026 - 27th November 2026, in Term 4).

This role presents an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking short-term employment, recent graduates looking to gain specialist experience, or experienced educators seeking a flexible teaching assignment.

Valley Hope Christian School is a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Year 1 to Year 12. This co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its students. Valley Hope Christian School is located near Yamba (in Townsend) on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. Valley Hope Christian School is located on the same site as Pacific Valley Christian School and has its own Principal but shares facilities. Each student is unique, and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support.
