Job summary

Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes is opening a new Junior School campus (R-6) and is seeking three Junior School Classroom Teachers to join the team for the 2027 school year.

As a member of a Christian school community, you will contribute to a culture of educational excellence, undertake WWCC and RRHAN-EC requirements, and collaborate with a supportive leadership team. The position is permanent and full-time.

Qualifications

• Current SA Teacher Registration is required.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain WWCC clearance.
• RRHAN-EC certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivation and passion to work with and support young people.
• Strong organisational skills for planning and prioritising work.
• Ability to support the Christian ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to Junior School students (R-6).
• Contribute to a positive, caring classroom culture consistent with Endeavour values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement the new campus program.
• Support the Christian ethos and actively promote student wellbeing and care.

Endeavour College seeks three Junior School Classroom Teachers to join the team for the opening of the new Junior School campus (R-6) in Mawson Lakes.

For more than 28 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a co-educational secondary school with a young history and a strong reputation for educating the minds, hearts, and spirits of students in Years 7-12, under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church in Australia. Currently we are catering to approximately 750 students, we offer an education that prepares them for their future years, whilst leaving lasting and treasure worthy memories.

The Junior School campus (R-6 years) has commenced construction, and it is anticipated to be open at the start of the 2027 school year, catering for approximately 380 students, providing a dedicated environment tailored to younger students, while remaining closely connected to the wider Endeavour College community.

About the role

We are looking to finalise the Classroom Teacher Team, with the exciting opportunity to join us in the opening of the new Junior School. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the culture of a new school that is part of a well-established Lutheran College.

We have three vacancies for Classroom Teachers available.

The successful applicant will have:

• Current SA Teacher Registration
• Hold or be willing and able to obtain and maintain a current clearance of Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Hold or be willing to maintain a current Responding to Risk, Harm and Neglect in an educational setting (RRHAN-EC)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivation and passion to work with and support young people
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, set, and prioritise work
• Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.
• Support the Christian ethos, and encourage a spirit of Christian care amongst staff and students (highly desirable)
