Job summary

TBH is seeking a Full-Time Planning and Scheduling Consultant to join the Sydney team. You will develop and maintain project schedules, analyse data for insights, and support client deliverables across energy, water, defence, infrastructure, and international projects.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or similar.
  • 2-3 years' post-graduate experience in planning within construction, infrastructure, defence or related sectors.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office; Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Foundational understanding of project management and project controls principles.
  • NV1 security clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous consultancy or professional services experience is desirable.

  • Supporting the execution of project plans and contributing to project delivery as directed by senior team members.
  • Analysing and interpreting data, preparing reports and presenting insights to support decision-making.
  • Assisting in development, review and maintenance of project schedules and validation of third-party programmes.
  • Supporting planning and scheduling activities, including cost and resource loading, integrated schedules and progress updates.
  • Collaborating with the team to prepare client deliverables, including reports, analysis and presentations.
  • Building strong working relationships with team members and client stakeholders through clear communication.

We are looking to welcome a Full-Time Planning and Scheduling Consultant, ready to take the next step in their career, to join our Sydney team.

You will step into a role where every day brings new challenges, opportunities to learn, and the chance to make a real impact on high-profile engineering and construction projects. This role will see you working closely with our technical teams to support the successful delivery of projects across the engineering and construction sectors. You'll contribute to a broad range of activities, from planning and scheduling through to integrated project controls and advisory services, while also building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

As our Planning and Scheduling Consultant, you'll play a key role in analysing data, preparing reports, and supporting the delivery of high-quality outputs. You will develop and maintain project schedules, analyse data to generate insights, and support the preparation of client deliverables.

You'll collaborate with experienced team members, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to solving complex project challenges. You'll work in a collaborative environment where no two projects are the same, giving you exposure to sectors including energy, water, defence, infrastructure, and international projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical capability while contributing to meaningful, complex projects.

As our Planning and Scheduling Consultant you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the execution of project plans and contributing to project delivery as directed by senior team members

  • Applying project controls methodologies to identify issues and contribute to effective, solution-driven outcomes
  • Supporting integrated project controls activities, including cost, schedule and risk integration and dashboard reporting
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality in all documentation and outputs

About the Candidate
  • A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or similar
