John Barnes & Co (Qld) Pty Ltd – Salisbury QLD is seeking a Junior Picker/Packer Warehouse Assistant to join a dynamic team. You will pick, pack, label, and dispatch orders for our door hardware products, contributing to a smooth supply chain.

Experience in a warehouse is preferred but not essential. The role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for growth within the company.

About the role

As a Picker/Packer, you'll be an integral part of our operations team, helping us ensure that each order is picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us deliver products that our customers depend on, contributing directly to the smooth running of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

Accurately pick door hardware products from stock based on order requirements.

Carefully pack items to ensure they are secure and protected for delivery.

Label products and packages correctly, ensuring clear identification for delivery.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Ensure timely dispatch of all completed orders.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks when required.

About you

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or similar role is preferred, but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Physically fit and able to lift and move products as needed.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
