Job summary

SSW is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our Newcastle office on an immediate start for a full-time, 40-hour week. The role emphasizes strong client communication, ownership of solutions, and production-ready web development using .NET/C# and Azure stack.

Candidates should have an IT degree with 1 year of full-time work experience or 2 years equivalent, plus the ability to engage professionally with clients and teammates. A passion for development trends is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Conducting research, consulting, and analyzing system program requirements to identify improvements.
Identifying technology constraints and shortcomings in current systems, processes, procedures, and methodologies.
Testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving errors in application programming, following established protocols and quality standards to ensure optimal performance.
Developing and maintaining program code to fulfill system specifications, designs, and technical requirements, while adhering to quality standards.
Writing, updating, and managing technical documentation for both programs and end-users, as well as operational procedures.
Offering expertise and advice on developing proposals and strategies related to software design, including financial assessments and cost analysis for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
