Leidos Australia is offering an ICT Graduate: Junior Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst cadetship in Canberra. This part-time position fits around your studies, 2–3 days a week, with paid industry experience and mentoring from cyber security professionals.
You will assist with governance evidence, risk documentation, compliance reporting, and audit support while gaining hands-on exposure to Australian Government environments and security operations.

We’re looking for students who are currently studying a degree or diploma in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Risk Management or a related discipline. This is a part‑time cadetship position designed on a maximum term contract, aimed to fit around your studies, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn and gain valuable industry experience. You'll be supported by experienced mentors, encouraged to ask questions, and given meaningful work that builds your understanding of ICT governance, risk, compliance, assurance and security operations.

Due to the nature of our work with Australian Government clients, applicants must be Australian Citizens at the time of application and be willing and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance. (A coordinated National Police Check and an active NV1 Security Clearance is required to work with this client).
Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. In certain circumstances this can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
