Job summary

St John’s Anglican College in Brisbane seeks a Primary Design and Digital Technologies Teacher to lead DT and digital learning in the Junior School from 2027. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, foster creativity and collaboration, and integrate coding, robotics and inquiry-based learning to enhance student outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of Junior School to create effective DT programs, support colleagues across the curriculum and promote a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary school setting.
• Ability to design and deliver age-appropriate Design and Digital Technologies lessons.
• Ability to support colleagues to integrate ICT into teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Design and Digital Technologies lessons for Junior School.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking and collaboration through hands-on learning.
• Integrate digital technologies, coding, robotics and inquiry-based learning.
• Support classroom teachers with curriculum integration across subjects.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
