Job summary

Auto & General Australia in Brisbane is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to help maintain a secure digital environment for customers, employees and the organisation. You will assist in identifying vulnerabilities, reviewing security information, and advising on remediation with IT teams.

Responsibilities include configuring security tools, monitoring alerts, supporting incident response, risk and compliance activities, and contributing to the development of security procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in cyber security.
• Basic understanding of cyber security concepts and networking.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable intelligence.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and mitigate vulnerabilities in IT systems and networks.
• Review incoming cybersecurity information and coordinate responses with support teams.
• Configure and maintain security tools and report network activity.
• Monitor security tickets and provide remediation guidance to stakeholders.
• Support risk and compliance activities and incident response planning.
