• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in trading tools.
• Strong risk management and experience implementing risk controls.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, CS, or related field.
• Certifications (e.g., AML/CTF, ICA, CAMS) highly desirable.

About the role

The Trader will have a strong understanding of trading principles, market dynamics, and risk management, with a proven track record in cryptocurrency trading.

Key responsibilities

Execute buy and sell orders for various cryptocurrencies and digital assets across multiple exchanges.

Monitor and manage open positions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades.

Utilise trading platforms and tools to optimise trade execution and achieve best pricing.

Stay updated on market news, regulatory changes, and events that impact cryptocurrency prices.

Develop and implement trading strategies based on market analysis, historical data, and quantitative models.

Backtest and evaluate the performance of trading strategies, making improvements as necessary.

Collaborate with the Research Analyst and Technology teams to refine and enhance trading algorithms.

Identify, assess, and manage trading risks, including market, liquidity, and operational risks.

Implement risk management protocols to protect the firm's capital and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.

Work with the Brokers to provide market insights and trading support to clients.

About you

Proven experience as a Trader, preferably within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industry.

Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading platforms, and blockchain technology.

Proficiency in technical and fundamental analysis, with the ability to make data-driven trading decisions.

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in trading tools and software.

Strong risk management acumen and experience implementing risk controls.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AML/CTF, ICA, CAMS, or equivalent) highly desirable.
