We are seeking a passionate and dedicated classroom teacher to join our junior team. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term contract position for the 2026 school year, with the class level to be negotiated. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and graduates who are eager to grow professionally and contribute to our dynamic school community and Catholic identity. A passion for teaching, sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum, and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Committed to child safety, maintaining best practices to ensure this, and ongoing evaluation of these practices.
• Demonstrate alignment with MACS Visions for Instruction and Engagement, using evidence‑based practices to maximise student learning.
• Embrace Explicit Direct Instruction and Engagement Norms as the foundation of classroom practice.
• Collaborate effectively within a team, contributing to shared responsibility for student growth and achievement.
• Be open to coaching, reflective practice, and welcoming feedback to support professional learning and development.

Special Requirements

• Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is desirable.
