Job summary

Core Talent is representing a small painting company based in Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane. They are seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to support day-to-day finance and administration, including payroll, accounts, bookkeeping and project support. The role is based in a home office.

The position is ideally full-time; however, a part-time arrangement or school hours can be considered for the right person. Xero experience is essential and prior payroll experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
• Strong Xero knowledge is essential.
• Experience with payroll and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for approximately 30 employees and subcontractors.
• Manage accounts payable, invoicing and supplier accounts.
• Complete bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping.
• Assist with month-end, BAS and IAS preparation.
• Coordinate onboarding of employees and subcontractors.
• Process purchase orders and dockets.
• Support project administration and documentation.
• Assist with project costing and progress claims as required.
