About the role

• Represent a diverse range of clients from the private sector not-for-profit organisations Queensland State government agencies and local councils
• Be involved in misconduct and disciplinary matters underpayment disputes and dismissal proceedings enterprise bargaining company restructures resulting transfers of business redundancy issues and managing employee exits.

The ideal candidate

• Minimum 2 PQE Lawyer up to Special Counsel level with strong academics and relevant Australian Legal Qualification / Admission
• Previous experience in workplace and industrial relations representing defendants from a recognized private practice law firm or government agency (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships (level dependent)
