Ashfords Accountants & Advisory – Dandenong VIC is seeking a proactive Junior Accountant to join our dynamic business services team. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, assist with client service, and learn across multiple units in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage own practice by accurately recording WIP, billing to target and keeping debtors under control.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and accounting packages (XERO experience is preferred but NOT essential)

Responsibilities

• Maintains detailed and accurate time sheets
• Prepares accounts, annual returns, BAS, FBT, ITRs, budgets and cashflow forecasts
• Attends to the requirements of companies and trusts
• Prepares business benchmarking reports for clients
• Provides general assistance to the accounting team
