Job summary

Maldon Gold Project in Central Victoria is seeking a proactive Underground Jumbo Operator to join the team and re-establish the Union Hill Mine. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will contribute to development and production prep through exploration drilling and access development.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of underground jumbo experience, be proficient with twin-boom and single-boom jumbos, and able to read mine design plans and survey markings.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as an Underground Jumbo Operator in both development and production.
• Proficient in operating Twin-boom and Single-Boom Jumbos.
• Ability to read and interpret mine design plans, specifications and survey markings.

Responsibilities

• Execute the re-establishment of the Union Hill Mine.
• Contribute to exploration drilling and development toward potential production prep.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager -Maldon Gold Project we are seeking a proactive, safety-conscious Jumbo Operator to execute the re-establishment of our Union Hill Mine. From exploration drilling and exploration development to preparation for potential future production.

Is this you?

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as an Underground Jumbo Operator in both development and production
• Proficient in operating Twin-boom and Single-Boom Jumbos
• Ability to read and interpret mine design plans, specifications and survey markings
• A strong commitment to quality and safety?

Desirable (not essential) tickets or experience that you may have

• Knowledge of various underground mining methods
• Experience in use of underground mobile equipment such as loaders, trucks, IT's, telehandlers
• Certificate III in Underground Metalliferous Mining
• Australian Working Rights
• Australian C Class Drivers Licence
• National Police check clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screen
