Responsibilities

• Undertaking substantive legal research.
• Analyzing and producing reasons for judgment, papers and presentations, including proofreading and editing.
• Drafting Court orders.
• Performing administrative tasks, including managing judge-managed lists.
• Acting as chambers' first point of contact with Court staff, the public, the media and the profession.
• Carrying out Associate duties in Court, including: communicating with practitioners; opening/closing the court; swearing in witnesses; maintaining documents and exhibits; transcript tasks.
