Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is hiring a Crew member to join our frontline team in Australia. You will greet customers, take orders, assemble burritos, restock, and perform basic food prep while supporting other team roles as needed.

Experience helps but isn’t essential. We value a coachable mindset, a positive “can-do” attitude, and reliability to follow through on tasks in a fast-paced environment. All team members participate in culture-rich celebrations and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast-paced environments is helpful but not essential.
• Open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort.
• A “can do” attitude and reliability to follow through.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders.
• Roll burritos and prepare basic food items.
• Restock fridges and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Help with other team roles as needed and learn across the shift.

Job Description

Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
• You’re open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
