St Bernard's College Essendon in Melbourne is seeking a suitably qualified Japanese Teacher for Term 1, 2027 as a leave replacement for Years 7–11. The position is full time and requires current VIT registration and a teaching qualification.

The successful applicant will contribute to a vibrant Catholic learning community, support pastoral care, and collaborate with the Key Learning Leaders to review and develop the curriculum. The role includes involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Japanese Years 7–11.
• Current VIT registration must be active.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos of education.
• Understanding pastoral care needs of boys in a Catholic secondary school.

Responsabilités

• Provide engaging learning experiences to support student progress toward personal excellence.
• Model positive Catholic values in teaching.
• Support students with individual and group work in line with curriculum requirements.
• Assist Key Learning Leaders in reviewing, designing and developing curriculum.
