Your Role

We are seeking an Iteration Manager to lead Agile delivery on one of IAG’s most critical technology platforms.

As an Iteration Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic, high-impact projects across the platform. You will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to facilitate delivery, ensuring outputs are on time, within budget, and of high quality while managing risks and dependencies. You will support continuous improvement of delivery capabilities and foster an Agile mindset and practices within the team. Your role will enable teams to deliver secure, robust, and scalable end-to-end solutions for customers, colleagues, and partners at speed. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional business outcomes through technology-driven change. To make a difference, you’ll need to be customer-focused, results-driven, and able to work collaboratively with our people, customers, and partners.

This role is not about product or digital delivery; it’s about delivering technology outcomes on a core platform that underpins our core business. You’ll ensure platform changes are executed efficiently, aligned with architecture and standards, and delivered at pace.

This is a permanent position with the flexibility to be based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

About You

  • Solid experience as an Iteration Manager (Scrum Master) in software delivery
  • Strong project reporting experience on progress, risks, issues, and budgets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles and processes
  • Relevant Certifications: You have relevant industry or specialist qualifications, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, LeSS etc.
  • Experience with using tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Tableau, Microsoft 365 tools
  • Ability to inspire, coach, and mentor high-performing teams
  • Create a supportive environment for personal and platform growth
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Insurance industry experience and Guidewire product knowledge highly regarded
