We are seeking a Technology Specialist - Mainframe to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology (EST) business area.
As an IT Technology Specialist – Mainframe, within the Mainframe Delivery Centre, you will provide senior technical leadership and expert advice in a role that has a strong focus on ensuring the stability, security and ongoing improvement of the ATO’s mainframe environments, which underpin key business and operational outcomes.
As a lead administrator for IBM Software Configuration and Library Manager (SCLM), you will safeguard the integrity of the ATO mainframe codebase and support source code management across development, test and production environments, including integration with automated build tools such as Azure DevOps.
You and your team will perform functions that are an integral part of the mainframe environment provisioning, code deployment and support, and ensuring the stability and currency of internal tooling that underpins the ATO development ecosystem.
As a senior leader, you will lead and mentor a team to resolve complex issues, support modernisation and automation initiatives, build capability and drive efficiencies across existing services while contributing to operational and business planning processes.
You will foster and drive a culture of continuous improvement, supporting staff to adopt and adapt to a constantly changing technology and risk environment. The role may include on‑call or out‑of‑hours support for business‑critical services.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non‑ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
