We are seeking an IT Technical Specialist to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.
As an IT Technical Specialist (Cloud Network Operations), you will provide technical leadership, for the ATO’s cloud networking and gateway services, ensuring the delivery of secure, resilient and contemporary capabilities that support critical business outcomes across the organisation.
You will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational performance and continual improvement of enterprise cloud networking services. Working across architecture, cyber security, engineering and delivery teams, you’ll provide authoritative advice, influence technical decision-making and drive the successful delivery of complex technology outcomes.
You will lead the operation and evolution of cloud network and gateway services including VPN/BWAN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), cloud-native networking services and public-facing security platforms. You’ll identify opportunities to improve service reliability, security, automation and user experience while ensuring services remain aligned with current and emerging business needs.
As a senior technical leader, you will build organisational capability through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing. You’ll foster a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, innovation and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of both strategic initiatives and business-as-usual outcomes.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle or Sydney CBD.
