Job summary

MSS Security is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our IT team and provide day-to-day support to our people across the business.

This hands-on role is suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, helping users, and finding practical IT solutions. You'll support Windows and Microsoft 365, laptops and mobile devices, and contribute to service improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support or service desk experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level IT support to internal employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Respond to and manage IT service requests through the service desk.
• Set up and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365, Windows and business applications.
• Manage user access, accounts and permissions.
• Escalate complex issues when required.
• Maintain IT asset records and support documentation.
• Collaborate with IT team to improve systems and user experience.

What you'll be doing

• Provide first and second-level IT support to internal employees
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues
• Respond to and manage IT service requests through the service desk

• Maintain accurate IT asset records and support documentation
• Work with the wider IT team to improve systems, processes and the user experience

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support, service desk or similar role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• Relevant IT qualifications or certifications will be highly regarded
