Job summary

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) seeks an experienced technology leader to head its Information Technology function and shape the tech strategy for delivery across the organisation. You will set priorities, manage a multi‑year roadmap and oversee budgets, partners, and secure, reliable services.

This hands‑on leadership role reports to the Chief Operations and Partnerships Officer and will drive value for members, staff and the organisation while building a high‑performing IT

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise technology functions in large organisations.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into delivery across a complex portfolio.
• Strong vendor management, procurement, and investment evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a clear, prioritised technology roadmap.
• Oversee technology operations, architecture, data and analytics, governance and service delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with executives, Board and business leaders to maximise value.
