Job summary

Genesis Minerals is seeking an IT Site Support Engineer across our Leonora operations on a Lifestyle 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. The role combines hands-on operational IT support with project work, delivering reliable systems and responsive service to site teams.

You will manage frontline IT support, server rooms, networks, and assets, collaborate with external providers, and contribute to budgeting, asset management and technology strategy while upholding safety and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in FIFO site support or similar IT role.
• Strong Microsoft server, desktop, AD skills.
• Networking knowledge and site infra troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support across operational sites.
• Support and deliver site IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage site infrastructure, hardware, server rooms, communication racks and IT assets.
• Work closely with external service providers to improve support outcomes.

Job Statement

Join Genesis Minerals during an exciting phase of growth! Reporting to the Superintendent IT Support Operations, the Site Support Engineer plays a critical role in delivering reliable IT support across Genesis Minerals' operations. You'll be the key point of contact for site-based technology support, ensuring IT systems remain operational, issues are resolved efficiently, and improvement initiatives are successfully delivered. This role offers a balance of hands on operational support and project work, partnering closely with site teams to enhance technology outcomes while contributing to a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This position is based across our Leonora operations on a Lifestyle 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. Key areas of focus include:

• Providing frontline IT support across operational sites, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
• Supporting and delivering site based IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Managing site infrastructure, hardware, server rooms, communication racks, and IT assets to maintain safe, reliable operations
• Working closely with external service providers to improve support outcomes, documentation, and service delivery
• Contributing to operational planning, budgeting, asset management, and technology strategy initiatives

About You

You are a proactive and solutions focused IT professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment. You bring strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer focused approach, and the ability to work independently while building positive relationships with site stakeholders.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Substantial experience in a FIFO Site Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar IT support role
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft server, desktop, Active Directory, and modern workplace technologies
• Sound networking knowledge, including troubleshooting connectivity and site infrastructure issues
• Experience working with virtualised environments and enterprise IT systems.
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to contribute to and lead site based technology projects
• A current manual C Class driver's licence
• Relevant IT qualifications, ITIL, Microsoft, or networking certifications will be highly regarded
