Job summary

Amazon Leo FinTech is seeking an Oracle e-Business Suite Functional Analyst with a focus on Financials to design, implement, and extend applications used across Amazon. You will lead functional design, configuration, and support for a globally deployed e-Business suite, gathering requirements, documenting configurations, performing gap analyses, and supporting end users across geographies.

The Amazon Leo Finance Technology team is looking for an Oracle e-Business Suite Functional Analyst with expertise in Financials to play a key role designing, implementing, and extending the applications used in Amazon. This position will be responsible for leading the functional design, configuration and support of applications with a primary focus on the global deployment of applications within the e-Business suite. Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, configuration of standard applications, gap analysis, functional design of application extensions, and end user support for multiple modules in multiple geographies. This role will be responsible for, and have significant influence over a portion of projects in the team’s work portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in Oracle DB and experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
• Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities
• Experience working with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle system issues
• Knowledge of database query technologies (SQL)
• Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
• Experience in translating business needs into detailed feature requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Oracle, or experience in relevant finance roles
• Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Experience in guiding, training and mentoring others, or experience working independently with minimal supervision
• Experience coordinating between project teams and customers to meet unique customer requirements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
