Job summary

Federal Government in Canberra seeks an experienced IRAP Assessor to uplift technical and security documentation for a cloud platform preparing for IRAP assessment. You will lead documentation across a complex environment, coordinating with SMEs to meet IRAP/ISM expectations and articulate system design clearly.

The role requires IRAP certification, 5+ years in government ICT, and strong technical writing with collaboration across infrastructure and cloud teams. NV1 clearance is required.

Qualifications

• IRAP certification.
• 5 years’ experience in Federal Government ICT environments.
• Experience producing SOPs, ABAC, high/ detailed design documents, SSPs.
• Experience with infrastructure and application teams.
• Exposure to Microsoft technologies, Azure, DevOps, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Review, uplift, and produce high quality technical and security documentation.
• Identify documentation gaps and work with SMEs to gather information.
• Support preparation activities for an IRAP assessment.
• Moderate and structure content for reusability and security handling.
• Provide guidance on technical remediation where required.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to ensure artefact accuracy.
