Job summary

Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. in Adelaide seeks a dedicated Employment Support Practitioner to deliver Individual Placement & Support (IPS) within the open labour market.

You will partner with clinical teams, engage employers, and align job search with each client’s strengths, preferences and goals, providing ongoing in-work support for as long as needed. This full-time, permanent role offers a supportive, not-for-profit environment with opportunities for career development and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IPS-based employment support.
• Ability to engage with employers and build job opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary mental health teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strengths-based, person-centred IPS employment support focused on competitive open employment.
• Develop job opportunities by building employer relationships aligned with client preferences.
• Provide rapid job search, connect clients with education or training when appropriate.
• Offer ongoing post-placement support to help clients start, sustain and progress in work.
• Record service activity and meet KPIs to support program fidelity.
