Investment Governance Manager
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Governance team at Mercer Investments. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne and requires working from the office at least three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage effective governance processes for Mercer Pacific Investments, ensuring the highest standards of probity, regulatory compliance, and best practice.
- Administer compliance processes with legal and regulatory obligations, maintaining charters, policies, and corporate records in line with ASIC, APRA, and other requirements.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of Board and Investment Committee meetings, including reporting, workplans, decisions, and communications with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic governance advice and foster a culture of good corporate governance across Mercer Investments Pacific.
- Support investment committee strategy, review, evaluation, and other governance programs as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in company secretarial and governance duties.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, legal compliance, and company secretarial responsibilities.
- Experience with ASIC, APRA, and asset‑management regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Proven ability to prepare and guide high‑quality minutes and papers for Board and Investment Committee meetings.
- Qualifications in law, business, governance, commerce, or related company secretarial studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professionalism and gravitas to advise senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work outside regular hours when required.
