The Role

The ABC is looking for a Brisbane-based Producer to deliver high-impact and engaging investigative news, and long‑form video and written content with the Investigations Reporting Team (IRT).

The Job
  • With the IRT Brisbane reporter, research, develop and produce high-quality, engaging investigations for all ABC platforms.
  • Aim to break major local and national stories.
  • Help develop and produce short and long-form scripts, digital copy and social content.
  • Help research, develop and produce quick turnaround investigative stories.
  • Maintain strong national and international contacts and stay across current events.
  • Use audience, digital and social trends to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Tell stories that reflect Australia's cultural, geographic and socio-economic diversity.
