Job summary

Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Manager of Investigations to lead a team and enhance the department's investigations capability. You will work closely with the Director to strengthen practice and ensure high-quality investigations across the organisation.

You will provide authoritative, evidence-based advice on complex matters, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in investigations and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading investigations teams and setting strategic direction.
• Ability to provide authoritative advice on complex investigations.
• Ability to engage with regulators, unions and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead an established investigations team and coordinate with the Director.
• Strengthen the department's in-house investigations function and improve practice.
• Provide clear, evidence-based advice to senior decision-makers.
• Build relationships with regulators and external investigator providers.
