Job summary

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Staff Specialist in Respiratory Medicine (Interventional Pulmonology) to join Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The role centers on high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, with teaching, research and admin responsibilities.

The successful applicant will be registered with AHPRA, hold FRACP or be eligible, and contribute to interventional pulmonology, including advanced airways, lung cancer

Qualifications

• Registered medical practitioner with FRACP or eligible for FRACP.
• Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine required.
• Interventional Pulmonology focus in IP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and consultative respiratory services.
• Perform interventional pulmonary procedures and airway interventions.
• Contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement activities.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities within the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department.
