Cater Care Group is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across our Parramatta operations. You'll conduct financial, operational and compliance audits, leverage data analytics, engage senior stakeholders and report to the Group Governance & Compliance Manager, driving continuous improvement and stronger decision-making.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or CIA qualification completed or nearing completion.
• 3–5+ years auditing experience within Big Four, mid-tier or corporate internal audit.
• Knowledge of IFRS/AASB and Australian legislation.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, ACL or SQL.
• Familiarity with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or NetSuite.

Reporting to the Group Governance & Compliance Manager, you'll play an influential role in assessing financial and operational controls, identifying emerging risks and providing recommendations that support better business decisions.

Working across finance, commercial and operational functions, you'll have the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders, challenge existing processes and contribute to the ongoing maturity of our governance and risk environment.

Job Description

What you'll be responsible for

• Planning and executing financial, operational and compliance audits.
• Reviewing financial records, reporting processes and internal controls.
• Identifying financial risks, control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Leveraging data analytics to enhance audit coverage, identify trends and exceptions, and strengthen the quality and effectiveness of audit testing.
• Assessing compliance with Australian legislation and accounting standards.
• Preparing clear, evidence-based audit reports and actionable recommendations.
• Working with stakeholders to resolve audit findings, agree practical action plans and monitor management actions through to completion.
• Preparing quarterly audit dashboards for the Audit & Risk Committee.
• Supporting external auditors and contributing to broader financial governance and continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA or CIA qualification, completed or nearing completion.
• 3 - 5+ years' auditing experience within Big Four, mid-tier or corporate internal audit.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls and audit methodologies.
• Knowledge of IFRS/AASB and relevant Australian legislation.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, ACL or SQL.
• Familiarity with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or NetSuite.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.

You'll also bring the confidence to navigate challenging conversations, build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate complex financial findings with clarity and influence.
