• 8+ years' experience in industry or consulting roles.

• Knowledge of internal controls (COSO, COBIT) and risk management.
• Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CIA, CISA are valued.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is welcomed.

Step into the heart of Protiviti's Internal Audit and Financial Advisory team as a nurturing Associate Director, where your insight and care will help shape Australia’s leading organisations. • Develop, progress and convert business development opportunities
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and engagements across key industry groups
• Effectively manage and develop relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Draw on technical and industry insights to deliver tailored products and solutions to our clients
• Lead, manage and mentor teams to deliver internal audit and risk consulting work plans
• Oversee job economics and ensure timely closure and billing of client projects
• Enhance Protiviti’s market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new clients
• Assist the Engagement Managing Director in managing engagement quality and risk
• Serve as a role model to team members by demonstrating service excellence and supporting the development of their technical and professional competencies
• Introduce next generation internal audit and risk management concepts to our clients
• Participate in recruiting activities to support overall Protiviti business objectives

To flourish in this role, we seek:

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in industry or consulting roles.
• Proven ability to nurture effective client relationships.
• A track record of leading teams combined with proven business development skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is essential.
• Academic achievements such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related fields. Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CIA, CISA are treasured.
• A thorough grasp of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT), risk management frameworks and auditing practices.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to nurture client relationships through empathetic engagement.
• Leadership skills that embody empowerment focused on elevating those around you.
