TerryWhite Chemmart Palmerston is seeking an Intern Pharmacist to join our busy community pharmacy, commencing in 2027. Working under experienced pharmacists, you will gain hands-on experience across dispensing, patient counselling and Care Clinic services while completing your internship.

Qualifications

• To be considered, you will have a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Current provisional registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain provisional registration.
• Enrolment, or eligibility to enrol, in an approved Intern Training Program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and computer literacy.
• Genuine interest in community pharmacy and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Provide evidence-based counselling on medicines within scope.
• Deliver high-standard customer service and make patients feel welcomed and supported.
• Refer to the pharmacist when required.
• Participate in TerryWhite Chemmart Care Clinic services and dispensary operations.
• Assist with Dose Administration Aids where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with dispensary processes and professional standards.
• Build relationships with local doctors and healthcare providers.
