Job summary

Moore Australia in Adelaide is seeking an Intermediate Accountant specialized in Business Advisory Services. You will work with the Director and senior team to deliver accounting, governance and financial advisory solutions to a growing client base.

Key tasks include management reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and proactive advisory support to help clients grow. A tertiary accounting qualification with CA/CPA progression is preferred.

About the role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will see you progress into the next phase of your career with strong training, support and technical exposure. You will work closely with the Director and senior team members, assisting in delivering accounting, governance and financial advisory solutions to a diverse, entrepreneurial and growing client base.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management reporting and financial analysis using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
  • Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Providing advisory support to help businesses improve and grow
  • Partner closely with clients to provide management consulting and corporate governance advice
  • BAS, IAS and tax compliance (with clear progression into advisory-focused work)

This role offers strong technical development and increasing client interaction – ideal for someone looking to broaden their commercial and advisory skill set.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate established experience within public practice accounting, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification, and be studying towards or aspiring to complete their CA or CPA. You will possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to prepare financial statements and management reports, while confidently communicating insights to clients. Ideally, you are proactive and personable, with strong attention to detail, a commercial mindset and a genuine interest in how businesses operate and grow.

Ultimately, you are looking to grow – stepping beyond taxation compliance into broader management, governance and business advisory work.
