MJC Partners in Melbourne is seeking an Intermediate Accountant with 2–4 years’ experience to advance from compliance into hands-on client work and advisory support.

You’ll work with senior team members and Partners, preparing financial statements and tax returns, budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with clients and the ATO, while mentoring junior staff and managing workflow to meet deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years’ experience in public practice (essential).
• CA or CPA (completed or in progress).
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Confident communicator with a client‑focused mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• A proactive attitude and desire to grow your career.

Aufgaben

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Client advisory and business structuring support.
• Assistance with transactions (business sales/purchases).
