Job summary

Charterhouse partners with a well-established accounting firm in Shepparton seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join its growing public practice team. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base and opportunities to advance within the firm.

You will prepare financial accounts and tax returns, manage client portfolios, assist with tax planning, BAS, and compliance, and help mentor junior staff while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Australian public practice.
• CA/CPA studies highly regarded.
• Experience preparing accounts and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in developing a career in public practice.
