Job summary

Custom Glass Co in South West Sydney is seeking an experienced Intermac CNC and Waterjet Operator to set up and run our CNC Intermac and waterjet machinery for glass ranging from 4mm to 12mm.

In this full-time role you will perform machine maintenance, ensure product quality, and work both independently and with factory staff in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for overtime and career stability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC Intermac and waterjet is required.
• Programming experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of general math.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

We collaborate with numerous builders on a variety of residential and commercial projects, kitchen companies, and the general glass trade.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC and Waterjet Operator to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for setting and operating our CNC and waterjet machines with glass ranging from 4mm to 12mm in thickness. This role also involves the general upkeep of the machines and ensuring the quality of all glass produced.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate Intermac CNC and waterjet machines.

Strong attention to detail

Provide general maintenance of the machines.

Ensure the quality of all glass produced.

Work independently while also collaborating closely with factory staff.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high quality standards

Qualifications:

Driver's license is desirable but not essential.

Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
