The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with an established national design practice to appoint an Interior Designer to its Adelaide team.

This is an opportunity to join a well-connected studio with an interesting pipeline of commercial projects and the backing of a national business. You will work alongside experienced designers and architects, contributing to projects from the early design stages through to documentation and delivery.

With work spanning workplace, government, education, hospitality and other commercial environments, you will have the opportunity to build on your existing experience, explore different project types and continue developing your capabilities.

The Role

We are looking for a designer who enjoys balancing creative thinking with technical delivery and is ready to take the next step in their professional development.

Working closely with the wider team, you will help translate design ideas into considered, practical outcomes while gaining exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing design concepts, space plans and presentation material
• Preparing Revit documentation and coordinating consultant information
• Contributing to finishes, materials and FF&E selections
• Supporting design development, detailed documentation and project delivery
• Collaborating with designers, architects and other project stakeholders

To be successful, you will bring 3–6 years' experience within an Australian interior design practice, strong Revit capability and an understanding of commercial design and documentation processes.

You will also be someone who takes initiative, communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team, with the confidence to contribute ideas and the motivation to keep learning.
