Job summary

MECCA Brands is seeking a Demand Planner on a fixed-term contract through to 27 August 2027 to help ensure the right products are available across the MECCA network. You will lead demand forecasting, manage replenishment planning, identify risks and opportunities, and optimise inventory to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will collaborate with brand teams and internal stakeholders to forecast for new items, manage PO placement, and monitor stock levels to meet KPIs and event-driven

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand and supply planning.
• Retail or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.
• Knowledge of merchandise management and/or supply chain systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to systems challenges.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Demand Planner, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time across the MECCA network. This is a fixed-term contract through to 27 August 2027 , offering the opportunity to partner closely with Brand teams to lead demand forecasting and replenishment planning, proactively identify risks and opportunities, optimise inventory, improve forecast accuracy, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

**The Role You Could Play:**

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a consensus sales forecast, adjusting as necessary to address abnormal trends or demand.

• Oversee the lifecycle of demand changes, including new product development (NPD), events, campaigns, and product exits.

• Partner with brand teams on forecasting fornew items, ensuring alignment on product ranges and strategies such as cannibalization.

• Place and manage purchase orders in alignment with the brand’s order placement cycle.

• Manage the product ordering process to meet KPIs for stock availability, service levels, and stock holding.

• Ensure stock availability for events to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sales performance.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in demand and supply planning.
