Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Insurance Technology Leader to serve as Insurance Chief Technology Officer for Australia and New Zealand. The role will set the technology agenda for strategic insurance clients and position Cognizant as a trusted transformation partner across General, Life, Health insurance and Superannuation.

The successful candidate will combine deep insurance domain knowledge, executive advisory capability, enterprise architecture leadership, and delivery governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in insurance technology and digital transformation.
• Track record advising C-level executives and leading enterprise-scale programs.
• Deep knowledge of core insurance platforms and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology leadership across insurance platforms and modernization initiatives.
• Set technology strategy and governance for major insurance programs in AU/NZ.
• Collaborate with sales, consulting, delivery and engineering leadership to win and deliver.
• Drive platform modernization, AI and data initiatives to deliver tangible outcomes.
• Oversee risk, security and quality in complex transformation programs.
