Job summary

QLD Storage Systems on the Gold Coast specialises in design, supply, installation and maintenance of shelving and pallet racking across SEQ and the Eastern seaboard. Our customers include warehouses, manufacturers, local government, schools and hospitals across QLD, NSW and VIC.

We are seeking installation professionals with experience in construction who can work with power tools, follow plans, and contribute to site safety. Training is provided and local knowledge of warehousing is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking installation works in a construction environment.
• Experience in shelving and pallet racking or similar installation work in construction/marine would be valuable but not essential. Training is provided and ongoing.
• Warehousing and storage systems experience welcome.
• Building or steel fabrication experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Competence in power tools and working with metal framing.
• Installation of pallet racking, shelving and storage systems.
• Clear communication with customers, suppliers and fellow staff.
• Part of a team responsible for all site works and following plans/schematics
• Follow and participate in QSS's Health & Safety program in relation to installations works.
