Swan Valley Anglican Community School in Western Australia seeks a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join us from Term 1, 2027. The successful candidate will deliver the WA curriculum across Years 7 to 12 and report to the Head of Science.

In a collaborative Science Department, you will create inclusive learning environments, differentiate instruction, use data-informed assessment, and foster curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and TRBWA registration.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Science across Years 7–12.
• Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Science curriculum.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, contemporary Science curriculum across Years 7 to 12.
• Create engaging, inclusive learning environments and foster inquiry.
• Differentiate instruction and utilise data-informed assessment.
• Collaborate with the Science Department to plan and develop curriculum.
