Job summary

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Ltd invites applications for a Secondary Physics and Mathematics teacher at Wahroonga Adventist School. The position is full-time or 0.8FTE, starting in Term 1, 2027, with responsibilities in Stage 6 Physics and 7–12 Mathematics.

The successful candidate will be registered with NESA (or eligible), hold an approved teaching qualification and a NSW Working with Children Check, and support the school’s Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• Hold an approved teaching qualification.
• Be currently registered with NESA, or eligible for registration.
• Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrate the capacity to teach Physics and Mathematics.
• Support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
• Preference for baptised practising Seventh-day Adventist or supportive Christian.

Responsibilities

• Teach Stage 6 Physics and 7–12 Mathematics.
• Join Wahroonga Adventist School teaching team in Term 1, 2027.
• Contribute to a caring, serving, learning and growing spirituality culture.
